MyWell is a mobile and web app developed under the MARVI project to empower citizens, Bhujal Jaankaars, and communities to monitor groundwater and other water parameters in real time. Whether you are a new user or an experienced volunteer, this guide will help you quickly get started with the MyWell App.
The first action is to register as an user of the MyWell app.
Once you open the app, you will see nine main options:
Well β Record groundwater levels
Rainfall β Submit local rainfall readings
Check dam β Monitor the check dam water levels
Water quality β Input water quality observations
Β River
Spring
Rainwater tank
Reservoir
Each icon leads you to a simple form or input tool for quick data entry.
Once a station is registered, you can:
Add New Reading β Click the pencil icon
Scan QR Code β Use the Scan button for easy updates
Browse Stations β Find and explore other stations around you
Your station ID appears under "My Station" and can be marked as a favourite.
Use the Browse option to view all stations on a live map. Click the + symbol to filter by:
This map allows you to see the collective monitoring efforts of other communities across India.
MyWell allows you to visualise groundwater level trends over time.
Use the sliders at the bottom to zoom in or out
Identify seasonal patterns, recharge periods, or critical depletion zones
This feature helps users and Bhujal Jaankaars understand long-term changes in their local water table.
